Freelance Academic Marker
About the Role
We are looking for responsible and detail-oriented freelance markers to assist with marking students' worksheets, assignments and assessment papers. Marking assignments will be allocated based on subject requirements and your area(s) of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Mark students' worksheets, assignments and assessment papers according to provided answer keys and marking guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and fairness when marking.
- Complete marking assignments within the stipulated deadlines.
- Provide brief annotations or feedback where required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student materials.
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Prior teaching, tutoring or marking experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the Singapore school syllabus is preferred.
Remuneration
- $10 per hour
- Freelance, ad hoc assignments based on operational needs.
- Flexible working arrangements
- Marking to be done onsite
