Freelance DevOps engineer on a long-term mission for a Belgian federal government client in Brussels, embedded in an infrastructure team: building/maintaining dev tools and CI/CD pipelines to deploy in-house apps to test and acceptance. Core stack: Ansible, Kubernetes/Helm, OpenShift, ELK, Python. Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite, until 31/03/2027.

For a Federale customer in Brussels, I am searching for a freelance DevOps Engineer for a long-term mission to work in an Infrastructure team handling applications which are developed in-house for external users.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a DevOps sub team (3) within a larger Infrastructure team (11)
  • Work closely with developers to maintain and implement development tools and pipelines to publish apps into acceptance and test (50/50 split between interaction with infrastructure/development teams)
  • Supply the lead architect with validation of new designs

Environment/technical experience

  • Strong knowledge of Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Knowledge of OpenShift
  • Strong knowledge of MicroServices architecture
  • Exposure ELK tools
  • Scripting/Python experience
