Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Review and inventory existing Oracle EBS technical components, including custom programs, interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, and related objects.
- Analyze technical architecture, business logic, data flows, interfaces, dependencies, transaction volumes, processing frequency, and system complexity.
- Support Functional Consultants in understanding technical characteristics and dependencies of existing Oracle EBS customizations.
- Review functional assessment outputs and identify requirements not fully covered by Oracle Fusion Cloud standard functionality.
- Design recommended technical solutions for future-state Oracle Fusion Cloud environments.
- Evaluate extension, integration, and reporting approaches utilizing Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies and services.
- Recommend target solutions leveraging:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- FBDI / ADFdi
- Oracle APEX
- BI Publisher (BIP)
- Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
- Assess technical feasibility, constraints, dependencies, and implementation complexity of proposed solutions.
- Support high-level target technical architecture and integration architecture design.
- Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants and client stakeholders throughout the assessment engagement.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of relevant project experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS technical architecture, including:
- Customizations
- Interfaces
- Reports
- Workflows
- Concurrent Programs
- Database Objects
- Data Structures
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud technical architecture and extension frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Oracle APEX
- BI Publisher (BIP)
- OTBI
- FBDI / ADFdi
- Experience in analyzing existing EBS technical components and identifying their technical logic, dependencies, data flows, and complexity.
- Experience in designing technical solutions for requirements not covered by Fusion standard functionality.
- Strong understanding of system integration, interface design, batch processing, and data migration.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into appropriate Fusion technical solutions.
- Ability to evaluate alternative technical approaches and recommend the most suitable solution.
- Ability to assess technical feasibility, complexity, dependencies, and high-level implementation effort.
- Experience in defining or supporting target technical architecture and integration architecture.
- Ability to work closely with Functional Consultants and client stakeholders.
