Conducts short, engaging enrichment classes for preschoolers (ages 3–6) to prepare them for Primary 1, using literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills aligned with Singapore’s MOE curriculum.

Job Summary
You will conduct enrichment programmes at preschools, preparing and delivering engaging lessons that meet learning objectives and support children’s development aged 3 to 6 years.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons focused on literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills aligned with Primary 1 curriculum objectives
- Apply diverse teaching methods to address varied learning styles and enhance student engagement
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in classroom activities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and positive behavior
- Establish and enforce clear expectations for student behavior and academic performance
- Manage classroom resources efficiently to support lesson delivery
- Monitor and support each student’s developmental progress through observation and assessment
- Adjust teaching strategies based on assessment outcomes to optimize learning effectiveness
- Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and relevant stakeholders to support learning goals
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, student progress, and required documentation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Early Childhood or Education
- Experience teaching preparatory or kindergarten-aged children
- Familiarity with MOE Primary 1 syllabus and curriculum
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital teaching tools
Other Information
Working Hours 4.30pm - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (minimum commitment of 1 day per week)
Environment Active and energetic childcare centres; classrooms are non-air-conditioned but well ventilated
