We are looking for an experienced Mathematics Curriculum & Education Assistant to support the development of our Primary 1βPrimary 6 Mathematics curriculum.
We are particularly seeking candidates with experience in the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus and/or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Freelance / Part-Time Math Curriculum & Education Assistant
(Assignment-Based)
π Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Primary 1βPrimary 6 Term 4 Mathematics curriculum
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, revision materials, and enrichment resources
- Develop problem-solving and higher-order thinking questions
- Prepare comprehensive answer keys with clear step-by-step solutions
- Create PowerPoint lesson materials and teaching resources
- Review, proofread, and improve existing curriculum content
- Ensure curriculum materials align with the Singapore MOE Mathematics syllabus and/or IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) standards
- Conduct curriculum research and benchmarking to ensure content remains relevant and effective
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to continuously improve teaching resources
- Complete assigned curriculum projects according to agreed timelines
β Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
- Experience teaching or developing curriculum for the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus is required
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) Mathematics curriculum is highly preferred
- Experience in curriculum writing, worksheet development, or educational content creation
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and effective teaching strategies
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
- Responsible, organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
β° Work Arrangement
- Assignment-based freelance / part-time position
- π Work-from-home available for suitable assignments
- π’ Minimum 2β3 days per week of offsite/centre-based collaboration at our Marine Parade centre
- Flexible working hours based on project timelines and deliverables
π° Remuneration
$12 β $20 per hour
(Based on qualifications, curriculum development experience, and project scope.)
