Freelance SharePoint Developer (SPFx / React)
We are hiring a Freelance SharePoint Developer with strong SPFx and React skills to build a SharePoint site using SharePoint Framework. This is hands-on build work, not administration or configuration. The right Freelance SharePoint Developer will create custom web parts and components from the ground up, so recent, practical SPFx experience is essential.
What you will do
Build a SharePoint site and custom web parts/components using SPFx
Develop front-end functionality in React and TypeScript
Integrate with SharePoint Online via Microsoft Graph and/or SharePoint REST APIs
Deliver responsive, accessible interfaces across the site
Essential experience
Strong, recent hands-on SPFx development
Solid React and TypeScript/JavaScript
Custom SharePoint web part and component development
Good working knowledge of SharePoint Online
Microsoft Graph and/or SharePoint REST APIs
Front-end strength across HTML/CSS, responsive design and accessibility
Desirable
Fluent UI and Microsoft 365 design patterns
Full-stack capability, particularly APIs, backend integration and Microsoft 365/Azure
Node.js and modern SPFx tooling
Integration with other Microsoft 365 services
Ideal candidate
The ideal Freelance SharePoint Developer is a strong front-end developer with genuine SPFx and React experience, with enough full-stack capability to handle integrations and backend work where needed. We will prioritise any Freelance SharePoint Developer with actual, recent SPFx build experience over general SharePoint admin backgrounds.
