THE OPPORTUNITY
CRST is seeking a Freight Brokerage Account Executive to grow and manage customer relationships within our Capacity Solutions business. This role combines account management, business development, and transportation sales, giving you the opportunity to build long-term partnerships while helping customers solve complex freight and logistics challenges.
You'll manage an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying opportunities to grow business, develop new customer relationships, and expand transportation solutions. HOW YOU'LL WORK
- Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:00 AM-4:00 PM)
- Compensation: Competitive compensation package. Additional details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Account Management
- Grow and manage a portfolio of customer accounts
- Build strong customer relationships that drive retention and long-term growth
- Serve as a trusted resource for customer transportation and logistics needs
- Business Development
- Prospect and engage potential customers through phone, referrals, networking, digital outreach, and other business development activities
- Identify opportunities to expand existing business and secure new transportation opportunities
- Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and account growth
- Sales & Negotiation
- Learn and assess customer needs to recommend transportation solutions
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities that create value for both customers and CRST
- Achieve individual sales and growth objectives
- Customer Success
- Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Support efficient billing and payment processes
- Resolve customer concerns while maintaining positive business relationships

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Sales, or a related field
