French Junior O2C Specialist – Finance & Accounting

✅ Location: Porto area
• Start date: 19.11.2026
• Hybrid: Home office office in Porto Office Park
• Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 – no shifts, weekends off
• Full-time: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week

✅ Project:
Join a finance team supporting a global company that develops insulin delivery systems and diabetes technology. Order-to-Cash (O2C) covers the process from receiving an order and issuing an invoice to collecting and allocating the payment.
✅ As a Junior O2C Specialist you will:
• Process customer orders and email enquiries, keeping customer details up to date in the ERP system.
• Prepare invoices and credit notes in line with company procedures.
• Allocate incoming customer payments each day and help reconcile accounts.
• Follow up on overdue invoices, answer straightforward payment queries and pass complex disputes to the right colleagues.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, reconciliations and audit requests.
✅ Competitive salary and remuneration system:
• Base salary: €1,428.60 gross/month × 14
• Meal allowance: €7.63 net per working day, approximately €168 net/month, paid via meal card
Average monthly gross package: approximately €1,667 gross/month meal card (annual average, including the 2 extra salary payments)

✅ Requirements:
• You have an excellent command of French (C2).
• You communicate confidently in English (strong B2 /C1).
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• You have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) or Order-to-Cash (OTC/O2C). This experience is mandatory. Candidates with 2–5 years of relevant experience are also welcome.
• You understand accounting and finance principles and have good analytical skills.
• You can work with MS Excel; VLOOKUP and pivot tables are a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite is a plus.
• You work accurately, stay organised across several tasks and take a helpful approach to customer queries.
✅ EU citizenship or a valid residence permit with full rights to work in Portugal is required.
