Coastal Health is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team at our Northside Spine & Pain office.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and understands the importance of creating a positive first impression.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.

• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and identification.

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.

• Collect copayments and outstanding patient balances.

• Obtain and maintain accurate patient information.

• Coordinate patient check-out and follow-up appointments.

• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and providers.

• Maintain an organized and welcoming front office environment.

• Assist with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred.

• Experience in a specialty practice is a plus.

• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical scheduling preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
