POSITION SUMMARY

The Security team member is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community, residents, and staff while also fulfilling receptionist duties. This role includes monitoring the premises, conducting routine rounds, answering phones, and providing exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting regular security checks throughout the community, including outdoor rounds during overnight shifts.
  • Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, call lights, and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally and courteously.
  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of security rounds, incidents, and visitor logs.
  • Assist with monitoring security cameras and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including fire and emergency evacuation plans.
  • Support administrative tasks assigned, including light clerical duties and handling deliveries.
