Summary

Front-End Developer at a small Makati web studio that builds websites for banks, insurers, hospitals, airports and listed companies. Day to day you turn Figma designs into responsive pages in Nuxt 4, Vue 3 and Tailwind, hook them up to a CMS/APIs, and ship hybrid from the Salcedo Village office 4 days a week.

Salary: ₱24,000 – ₱30,000 per month

About the role

We’re Designblue Philippines, a small web team in Makati. We build websites for banks, insurers, hospitals, airports and listed companies, and we’re looking for a Front-End Developer to join us.

You’ll take a Figma file and turn it into a real page that matches it. Our clients have brand teams who notice when the font size is off, so getting the details right is the job. You’ll work in Nuxt 4, Vue 3 and Tailwind, and you’ll own whole pages instead of small pieces.

What you’ll do

  • Build client pages from Figma designs using Nuxt, Vue 3 and Tailwind

  • Match the design closely (spacing, type, colour, hover states) and tell us when a design won’t work in a browser

  • Make every page work on desktop, tablet and mobile, and test all three before calling it done

  • Connect pages to our CMS and APIs so content comes from the backend

  • Add scroll effects, transitions and hover animations that feel intentional

  • Work in feature branches, open pull requests, and review your teammates’ code

  • Fix issues from QA and clients, and check the fix on the live site

  • Keep pages fast and accessible

What we’re looking for

  • Fresh grad up to around 2 years of experience. We care more about live sites or projects you can show us than a long CV (work, freelance, internship or personal all count)

  • Vue 3 with the Composition API and script setup

  • Some Nuxt, and an idea of how server-side rendering changes things

  • Tailwind CSS, plus enough plain CSS to fix what Tailwind can’t

  • Layouts that hold up between breakpoints, not just at them

  • Comfortable with Figma: you pull real spacing and type values instead of eyeballing

  • Git day to day: branches, pull requests, fixing your own merge conflicts

  • Willing to work from our Salcedo Village office 4 days a week (Fridays at home)

Bonus points

  • Nuxt 4

  • You’ve used AI tools like Claude, Copilot or Cursor on real work and can tell when the code they give you is wrong

  • GSAP or ScrollTrigger

  • REST APIs, including loading, empty and error states

  • Design systems or tokens

  • Core Web Vitals, image optimisation, basic accessibility

  • A bit of design background

What to expect

It’s a small team, so your work gets seen early and you’ll get responsibility sooner than you would at a big company. Every page gets a code review before it ships, and that includes the seniors. It’s where most of the learning happens. Launch weeks run long and some weeks are quiet. We’ll ask what you think about a design in meetings, and we mean it.

What we offer

  • ₱24,000 – ₱30,000 per month, depending on what you bring

  • 13th month pay

  • Paid leaves

  • Hybrid setup: 4 days in our Salcedo Village office, Fridays from home

  • Real mentorship from people who’ll show you how it’s done

How to apply

Send us your CV and links to something you’ve built. A live site or project tells us way more than a polished CV.
