FRONT END DEVELOPER

As a Front end Developer, you will be part of a development team who are working with cutting edge technologies, so it is key that you have a good understanding of the full development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components with HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Integrate applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, and JWT authentication for secure and real-time data handling.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, product managers) to deliver high-quality features.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across devices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management (Redux / Redux Toolkit).
  • Knowledge of Next.js for server-side rendering and modern frontend architecture.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
  • Strong understanding of Git version control and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications, Experience & Personal attributes required

  • Educated to Degree level in a Computing/Software/Technology related subject, or equivalent or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Should have minimum 5 years’ experience relevant field.

Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and team-working skills are essential to this role in working closely with the internal teams as well as business colleagues and third party providers/ suppliers.
