FitCo is hiring a Front End Developer in Vancouver to build and maintain high-quality websites, turning UX designs into working templates while collaborating with project managers. Core stack includes HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress, with Git-based workflows and design tools like Adobe XD and Zeplin.
As a Front End Developer, you will be working closely with our Project Managers and UX Designers to develop and maintain high quality websites, transform designs into working templates, estimate and manage time effectively and communicate using project management software.
You should possess the following:
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in web development
- Expert knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/SASS/JavaScript/PHP
- High-level experience with WordPress
- Ability to deliver clean and efficient code within estimated timeline and budget
- Good understanding of mobile first and responsive programming
- Good understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform issues and web standards
- Knowledge of website optimization techniques & tools
- Experience using Adobe XD, Photoshop, Zeplin
- Experience with versioning (Git/SVN)
- Experience with command line
- Experience with working in a collaborative coding environment
- Experience on React.js is an asset but not required but not required
- Degree or Diploma in New Media Design and Web Development, Computer Science or other related web development programs
