Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Developer(React) to join our dynamic team in Pune office. This individual will play a pivotal role in building responsive, performant and accessible user interfaces for our client-facing software solutions, with a primary focus on React and modern frontend technologies.

Technical Responsibilities -

• Core expertise on using React for building scalable, component-driven user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain responsive, accessible and cross-browser compatible web applications, translating UI/UX designs and wireframes (e.g., Figma) into pixel-perfect, reusable components.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, handling authentication, data fetching, caching and error states effectively.
• Implement state management and data-fetching patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, React Query) that keep applications predictable and easy to maintain.
• Implement coding best practices to foster code modularity, reusability, and maintainability, and contribute to shared component libraries and design systems (e.g., Storybook).
• Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright) to ensure high-quality, defect-free releases.
• Optimize application performance, including bundle size, lazy loading, rendering efficiency and Core Web Vitals, and ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, QA and product teams, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployments on cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews, support and mentor other engineers, contributing to a culture that values technical skill and code quality.
• Stay informed on the latest frontend technologies and programming techniques, exploring their applicability to our products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in frontend/web development, with strong hands-on experience building production applications in React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, with a strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Solid understanding of the React ecosystem: Hooks, Context API, React Router, and state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
• Experience with modern styling approaches and UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Styled Components or SASS.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus), and familiarity with authentication flows such as OAuth/JWT.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright) and with Git-based workflows and build tools (Vite, Webpack).
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility and frontend performance optimization.
• Good to have: exposure to Next.js, Storybook, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• A dedication to continuous learning and skill enhancement in the field of frontend technology.
• Strong communication skills, able to effectively convey technical ideas to varied audiences.
• Self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail.
