About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Front End Developer with expertise in Angular to join our Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that support space domain awareness and related scientific and engineering data visualization. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in designing and developing user interfaces that effectively present complex data, ensuring an engaging and efficient user experience. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions within a rapidly expanding business area, working on projects that evolve through agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, and DevSecOps.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a strong background in modern Angular (version 14+), along with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are vital, as the role requires collaboration within a dynamic environment where requirements and technologies can change rapidly. Candidates should demonstrate pragmatic, delivery-focused approaches and a passion for learning new skills. Highly desirable qualifications include experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright and Cucumber, familiarity with RxJS and CSS Grid, and exposure to Astro Space UX Design System. Experience in Agile development practices is also advantageous.

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements, contribute to prototyping efforts, and adapt to evolving project scopes. Additionally, you will be involved in integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance system capabilities and user experience. Your proactive engagement and problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
