Front End Developer

Salary: $88 per hour plus super

Our client is a global leader in developing innovative, networked building automation and digital solutions.

As a Frontend Developer, you will join a team of experienced software engineers responsible for developing and enhancing market-leading technology solutions. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, using modern development methodologies, tools and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance market-leading software solutions for building technologies and automation systems.
• Perform software engineering activities across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide responsive technical support for software solutions, investigating issues and implementing effective resolutions to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify and implement best-practice software solutions, development methodologies, and process improvements.

Experience

• Experience delivering high quality web-based solutions, using modern tools and techniques, including:
• UI technologies (HTML5, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS)
• State Management libraries (Redux, Content, zustand)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferable)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker preferable)
• Experience creating performant and scalable software designs
• Experience with Agile development and automated unit/integration testing

Highly Valued

• Experience with backend technologies including:
• Web Service Development (.NET/C++ stack, ReST, WCF, gRPC)
• Service hosting in On-Premise and Microsoft Azure/any other cloud platform
