Front-End Engineer / Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise front-end applications for internal systems and selected consumer-facing (C-end) pages.
• Continuously improve front-end architecture to enhance system stability, scalability and user experience.
• Contribute to the development of engineering productivity platforms, leveraging AI coding tools to optimise development, debugging, testing and code review workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of front-end development experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and React, including an understanding of React's underlying mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Git, Node.js, front-end build tools and development workflows; knowledge of back-end development and API design is an advantage.
• Ability to accurately translate design mock-ups into functional interfaces, with good coding practices and architectural design skills. Familiarity with performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex. Ability to break down tasks, organise business requirements and code context, and leverage AI for development, debugging and refactoring.
• Ability to understand, review and correct AI-generated code, validate results through testing and actual execution, and take responsibility for the quality of deliverables.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated, with strong communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing internal systems related to approval workflows, HR, payroll, finance or data analytics, or experience using or developing low-code platforms.
• Experience building AI-assisted coding workflows, such as establishing project rules, developing reusable Skills, or integrating development tools through MCP.
• Experience delivering full-stack projects primarily through AI-assisted coding, including front-end and back-end development, database design, API integration, deployment and validation of code quality and runtime results.
• Proficiency in using development tools, with a strong interest in or practical experience in engineering productivity, user experience, application performance or information security.
• Strong interest in B2B products; candidates with consumer-facing (C-end) development experience will be preferred.
