Front End Engineer

Summary

Frontend Engineer builds responsive, accessible UI components in React, translating designs into production-ready features while optimizing performance and collaborating with design and backend teams.

About the Role

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer with a strong eye for UI to build fast, polished, and intuitive user experiences. You'll work primarily in React, turning designs into responsive, accessible, production-quality interfaces, and collaborating closely with design and backend teams to ship features end-to-end.

What You'll Do

● Build and maintain user-facing features using React and modern frontend tooling

● Translate designs (Figma or similar) into pixel-accurate, responsive UI components

● Develop and maintain a reusable component library / design system

● Optimize application performance (load times, rendering, bundle size)

● Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG/ARIA standards)

● Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews

● Collaborate with product designers, backend engineers, and product managers to define and refine features

● Integrate frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs

● Contribute to technical decisions around frontend architecture, tooling, and best practices

What We're Looking For

Required:

● Strong professional experience with React (hooks, component patterns, state management)

● Strong UI/UX sensibility — experience building clean, intuitive, and visually polished interfaces

● Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design)

● Experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, React Query, Context API, etc.)

● Familiarity with frontend build tools (Vite, Webpack) and package managers (npm/yarn/pnpm)

● Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs

● Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser considerations

● Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows

Nice to Have:

● Experience with design systems or component libraries (e.g., Storybook, shadcn/ui, MUI, Tailwind CSS)

● Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright)

● Familiarity with Next.js or other React frameworks

● Experience working closely with UI/UX designers in tools like Figma

● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment workflows
