Front-End Lead Engineer — TypeScript/React Architect (Italy)

Deltatre is seeking a Front-End Lead Engineer based in Italy to drive high-quality, scalable front-end solutions while staying hands-on with code. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and serve as the main technical contact between the team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include overseeing front-end projects, planning development activities, reviewing architecture, and driving modern front-end practices.

Oversee all front-end engineering aspects, ensuring robust, scalable, and accessible solutions. Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor front-end development activities with task prioritisation and estimates. Review and validate technical approaches and code quality for team deliverables against standards and performance benchmarks. Identify and resolve technical issues, escalating architecture concerns when necessary. Drive automation, tooling, and modern front-end technologies and methodologies. Mentor and onboard engineers, supporting professional growth and performance feedback. Contribute to project planning with Technical Directors and BA/PO to define acceptance criteria and manage risks. Engage with customers and stakeholders as the main technical contact and translate business requirements into technical needs. Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
