Front End Software Engineer
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year, based on experience
eGrowcery is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer, skilled in modern JavaScript frameworks, with a keen focus on UI/UX.
This role is currently ONLY open to candidates residing in Adelaide, South Australia, with unrestricted work rights.

eGrowcery founded in 2014, has experienced massive success in growth and sales of their SaaS product in the United States providing ecommerce software to 100+ supermarket franchises, linking our backend services with a modern CRM, eCommerce websites and mobile apps. With ongoing growth related to the need for customers to buy groceries online now more than ever, we are looking to grow the team.
WORK FROM HOME
Our Adelaide team works mostly from home, catching up fortnightly at our office in the heart of the CBD to discuss upcoming work and reconnect over lunch. The development team is growing and needs new developers that want to work with the latest technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain modern eCommerce applications, handling RESTful APIs and client-side business logic.
Translate feature requirements into clean, responsive, and polished user interfaces.
Collaborate on technical solutions with the dev and product teams.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of professional front-end engineering experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue or React.
Deep understanding of client-side state-management and asynchronous data flows with RESTful endpoints.
Strong design aesthetic and intuitive component layout skills using modern CSS / UI frameworks.
BONUS POINTS
Experience with Vue.js
Design skills with Miro or similar
Knowledge of Agile principles and practices
Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins
Experience with Expo for building Native Apps
Experience with Google Tag Manager and/or Google Analytics
