Front of House / Arcade Supervisor

The Front of House / Arcade Supervisor is responsible for guaranteeing that all front-of-house operations run smoothly in the absence of the Manager. The FOH Supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of waitstaff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good relationships with all guests! This position reports to the General Manager of the Restaurant.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • General Duties
    • Open and close the restaurant, as needed; and ensure the restaurant is appropriately ready to accommodate patrons
    • Ensure product quality and outstanding customer service
    • Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
    • Monitor cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
    • Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
  • Administrative Duties
    • Complete required reports on a timely basis
    • Assist with the scheduling of staff, monitoring of payroll, and maintaining compliance with labor budget
    • Participates in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the department
    • Other Essential Duties
    • Collaborate with park and home office departments
    • Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
    • Utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
    • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in food service
  • Proper State’s Food Manager Certification required
  • Responsible Management of Alcohol Certification required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, occasionally in warm temperatures
  • Occasional exposure to hot equipment and oil throughout the workday
  • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc.
