Front of House / Customer Service Manager – Evening Shift

We're hiring a Front of House / Customer Service Manager to lead our evening (closing) shift at Chick-fil-A Alpine Ave! If you have experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or guest service leadership, this could be your next career move.

At Chick-fil-A, we're more than just a job — we're an opportunity. We're looking for a hospitality-minded leader to help Chick-fil-A Alpine Ave be a light in our community. Our goal is to Win Hearts Every Day through Operational Excellence and Second-Mile Service. If that sounds like the kind of guest experience you love creating, we'd love to talk!

As a manager here, you'll oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during your shift — supervising your team, managing guest service, and keeping the front of house running smoothly. If you've got customer service, hospitality, or food service leadership experience and you're looking for a great place to grow your management career, there's a spot here for you. Restaurant industry experience is welcome but not required — we're open to any kind of team lead, supervisor, or shift lead background, formal title or not, including candidates coming from other quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands.

This role starts as a Manager in Training so we can make sure it's the right fit on both sides. Pay for this position ranges $18–$24/hour.

Schedule: This role covers our evening shift, 2PM until close (11PM). Friday and Saturday availability is required. This is a full-time management position.

What you'll do (Shift & Team Leadership):

  • Lead and supervise the front of house team, keeping everyone focused on hospitality, guest service, and customer satisfaction between 2PM and close

  • Oversee order accuracy and quality control to make sure guests get exactly what they ordered

  • Manage workflow and pacing to hit our restaurant's speed-of-service and guest wait-time standards

  • Maintain a clean, safe dining and service environment, following all food safety and sanitation protocols

  • Ensure compliance with minor labor laws throughout the shift

  • Coordinate break scheduling to support staff well-being and team morale

  • Monitor performance bottlenecks ("pinch points") during rushes and step in with hands-on problem-solving

  • Jump into any front-of-house or guest service task as needed to support the team

  • Handle guest complaints and service recovery, escalating complex issues to upper management

  • Coach, mentor, and give feedback to team members, building a positive, respectful team culture

  • Communicate performance issues or policy violations to management for follow-up

  • Uphold all company policies, procedures, and brand standards

What we're looking for:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • A background in customer service, hospitality, food service, or restaurant/retail management (formal or informal leadership experience both welcome)

  • Comfort supervising a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • A guest-first, service-oriented mindset

Benefits:

  • Pay: $18–$24/hour

  • PTO

  • Health insurance, with a $325 Operator contribution

  • Dental coverage

  • 401(k)

  • Bonus opportunities

  • Access to scholarships

  • Closed Sundays — every Chick-fil-A location closes on Sundays, so you'll always have that day for family and friends

  • Leadership development and career growth opportunities, including access to a Leadership Library

  • Free food — up to $10.10 per shift worked

  • Food donations available for your organization, event, or extracurricular activities

It's a great place to work. At Chick-fil-A, our operators see their team as more than employees — you're a valued part of the restaurant.
