Description
Our client is a lively wine bar looking for a bubbly, welcoming Front of House Hostess. You’ll set the tone for every visit: polished, professional and a little bit fun.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests warmly and attend to all enquiries in person, by phone and online.Manage reservations and the waitlist.
• Manage floor flow and table assignments to keep seating smooth and wait times short.
• Manage event bookings, catering sales and event orders.
• Respond to customers across phone, email, messaging and social channels.
• Work closely with servers, sommeliers and bartenders to keep service seamless.
What We’re Looking For:
• 3–4 years of hosting, front of house or hospitality experience, preferably in semi-fine dining.
• Bubbly, fun and outspoken personality, with the professionalism to match a wine bar.
• Highly organised and calm under pressure during busy periods.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience with reservation systems is a plus.
• Interest in or knowledge of wine is a plus.
