Job description
Oversee the Front Office operations, including the Reception, CID, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Guest Relations, ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.
Ensure appropriate stock level for the smooth run of the Front Office operations and approve requisitions accordingly.
Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and that they enjoy their stay by being offered the finest personal service. Also ensure the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected.
Act as a representative of the Management when dealing with guest complaints or if a member of the Front Office team is facing difficulties that he or she cannot solve on their own.
Manage any guest complaint in a professional manner by owning it, resolving it to the guest's satisfaction, and recording it.
Be fully aware of and report all guest comments or complaints.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience, depending on education and career background
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or Room Division
- Fluent in English (French and Arabic will be an advantage)
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
