Front Office Manager
The
Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk and guest
service operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience from
arrival to departure. This role leads and develops the front desk team,
maintains service standards, and manages daily operations to ensure efficiency
and consistency. Working closely with other departments, the Front Office
Manager handles guest feedback and resolves issues, supports revenue
initiatives, and ensures accurate reporting and administrative processes. This
position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the
ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while
consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Monitor
daily operations, ensuring professionalism, efficiency, and high service
standards.
- Ensure clear
and consistent communication across through the Hotel Operations
team and with other departments.
- Ensure
all front office procedures, financial transactions, and reporting
are accurate and compliant.
- Demonstrate
leadership in achieving business objectives, and driving
continuous improvement.
- Uphold compliance with company SOPs, policies,
and health & safety standards and lead by example.
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with property owners and key
stakeholders.
- Handle
guest feedback, complaints, and complex issues promptly and
professionally.
- Assist with
recruitment.
- Lead,
coach, and develop team members while ensuring accountability and
performance standards.

Working Hours: Shift-based
- 07:00 - 16:00
- 09:00 - 18:00
- 13:00 - 22:00
Private Vehicle Commuting: Permitted (Commuting allowance available, Based on separately established provisions)
Measures to prevent passive smoking: Indoor smoking prohibited

Overtime: Yes (monthly average is 10 hours)
Article 36 Agreement: Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)

Requirements
Experience
- Must: Minimum
2 years’ experience in Front Office management or similar role
Education and Qualification
- Must: Eligible for a working visa in Japan
- Preferred:
- Hospitality-related qualification or training
- Valid Driver’s License (Japanese, international, or foreign driver’s license with an official Japanese Translation)
Skills
- Must-have: Strong
interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with guests, team
members, and stakeholders, including owners
Language Skill
- Must-have:Fluent level or above in English
- Preferred:
- Willingness to learn Japanese, conversational level would be ideal
- Additional language (Chinese – Mandarin/Cantonese)
