Chicago – Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Offsite

About The Role:

As a Front Office Software Engineer, you will lead end-to-end software development and provide hands-on support, collaborating directly with the trading desk.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop algorithmic trading strategies in C++
• Design and implement front-end GUIs using C#
• Provide direct support to the trading desk
• Monitor and maintain system performance and stability
• Assist with client-facing technical support and issue resolution

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar role within financial technology or electronic trading
• Strong understanding of low-latency trading systems and infrastructure
• Familiarity with Interest Rate Futures and U.S. Treasury Bond markets
• Experience with automated spreading and hedging strategies
• Proficiency in C++ and C# for both backend and front-end development
• Comfortable working within Agile development environments
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and operate independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to DevExpress and Broadway Technology is a plus
