Job Description:
Essential
- Building reusable components
- Experience developing accessible web applications
- Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, vanilla JS and how to use in the context of accessibility
- Good React knowledge including use of hooks
- Experience with SCSS including mixins, functions etc.
- Awareness and understanding of WCAG, as well as meeting accessibility standards
- Knowledge of ARIA roles and attributes
- Experience with accessibility testing - screen readers, browsers and keyboard driven functionality
- Use of git
- Use of npm
Desirable
- Use of Dart SCSS
- Design UX/VD experience
- Experience using Sketch, Invision or other design software
- Ability to write documentation
- Comfortable with sharing knowledge to, and mentoring other developers
- Ability to configure, maintain and update webpack builds
- Experience creating, editing and maintaining production build/deployment plans
- Atlassian stack: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo
- Developing and customizing Storybook
- Knowledge of and experience using web components - native or library based
