Job Description
Lead the architecture and evolution of our micro frontend platform for Bell.ca, enabling domain‑based feature teams to deliver independently. Define standards for shell app coordination, shared libraries, routing, and runtime integrations. Design and implement mechanisms for shared state management, version control, and safe rollout of micro frontends. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other senior frontend engineers. Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure seamless CICD pipelines and observability. Work with stakeholders across Product, Design, and Content to ensure a consistent user experience. Represent frontend technical leadership across cross‑functional projects.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience building modern frontend applications at scale.
- Deep expertise with frameworks like React (Next.js, Remix) and micro frontend tooling.
- Strong understanding of performance, security, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Experience working in distributed monorepo or federated repo setups.
- Comfortable navigating trade‑offs between centralized control and team autonomy.
- Strong communicator who can influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Good to have: familiarity with tools like Turboprop, experience integrating backend‑for‑frontend (BFF) layers, GraphQL APIs, or edge functions.
- Previous contributions to platform‑level SDKs or component frameworks.
