Frontend Developer

About Role: As a Frontend Developer at InstaSafe, you will play a crucial role in building visually engaging, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces that align with our brand's identity. You will work closely with the design team to turn concepts into functional web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, reusable code, optimising frontend performance, and collaborating with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs. Additionally, you’ll ensure cross-browser compatibility, troubleshoot issues, and implement accessibility standards to create inclusive digital experiences. Key Responsibilities

• User Interface Development:
  Collaborate with the design team to build responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

• Efficient Frontend Code:
  Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for frontend components while optimising performance across various devices (memory, CPU).

• Debugging and Issue Resolution:
  Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, and debug and extend front-end libraries when required.

• Pixel-Perfect Design Implementation:
  Work with Sigma for design collaboration and prototyping, ensuring pixel-perfect UI implementation and smooth communication with design teams.

• Cross-Browser and Device Compatibility:
  Ensure consistent functionality and visual integrity across different browsers and devices through rigorous testing and optimization.

• API Integration:
  Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and interactivity between frontend and backend systems.

• Performance Optimization:
  Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise application performance through techniques such as caching, load management, and resource optimization for scalable and high-performing frontend solutions.

• Accessibility and Usability:
  Apply WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards and best practices to create accessible and inclusive user experiences for all users.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  

• Experience: 4-6 years in software development, with a primary focus on Golang in production environments.
  

• Frontend Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern frontend development frameworks and tools, particularly AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with PHP (Laravel framework) is a plus.
  

• Design and Prototyping Tools: Proficiency in using Figma for collaborating on designs and prototyping.
  

• Web Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance optimization techniques, including caching strategies, load management, and working with servers like Apache and Tomcat.
  

• Cross-Browser and Device Testing: Experience in ensuring compatibility and consistent performance across multiple browsers and devices.
  

• Experience in website enhancement and maintenance is highly desirable.
