This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Developer, Intermediate based in Canada.

You’ll contribute to the development of user-facing features that help healthcare organizations manage and exchange critical data more effectively.
Working closely with developers, designers, clients, and cross-functional teams, you’ll turn requirements and design concepts into reliable software solutions.
The role combines hands-on Angular development with opportunities to contribute to architectural decisions, testing, documentation, and technical standards.
You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values code quality, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and thoughtful problem solving.

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to the scope, solution design, milestones, and technical approach for responsive, scalable, and performant user interfaces and assigned features.
  • Develop high-quality frontend applications by creating reusable components, modules, and functionality that meet technical and product requirements.
  • Write maintainable code, unit tests, and supporting documentation while participating in comprehensive testing, debugging, and defect-resolution activities.
  • Build a strong understanding of the functionality being developed and provide technical support and guidance to the broader development team.
  • Lead or contribute to architectural discussions focused on Angular frontend design and promote effective development practices and standards.
  • Support the adoption and consistent application of coding standards across the team and contribute to continuous improvements in development processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, collaborative troubleshooting, and detailed technical problem solving with teammates.
  • Attend client meetings when required and communicate technical considerations clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to technology meetings and initiatives that help shape technical processes, architecture, and broader engineering strategy.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Demonstrated experience building applications with Angular and a strong understanding of core concepts such as state management, observables, interceptors, routing, and related frontend patterns.
    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience working effectively within collaborative development teams.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across functions.
    • Experience in healthcare and/or technology environments is preferred.
    • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Slack, Google technologies, Figma, Jira, GitLab, Postman, Microsoft Azure, Jasmine/Karma, Cordova/Ionic, REST APIs, and Bootstrap is an advantage.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and networking is preferred.
    • Knowledge of healthcare technologies and standards such as HL7 and FHIR is an asset, but not required.
    • A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong attention to code quality, technical detail, and continuous learning.
