Frontend Developer Intern

Summary

Paid remote Frontend Developer Intern building production-grade web (React/Next.js) and mobile (React Native/Flutter) applications at Credes, focusing on state management, API integration, performance optimization, and AI-assisted development.

About the job

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer Intern to join our engineering team at Credes — someone who can build clean, responsive, scalable interfaces across web and mobile, understands UI systems beyond just individual components, and works effectively with AI-assisted development tools.

This is a paid, completely remote internship with real stakes.

  • Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
  • Location: Completely Remote
  • Duration: 3 months or 6 months
  • Eligibility: Must be located in India

You won’t be building static UI screens. You’ll be working on production-grade web and mobile applications — handling real user flows, state management, performance constraints, and integrations with live backend systems. If you have strong fundamentals in React-based frontend development and 2–3 projects you’ve actually shipped, we want to talk. Experience with Flutter or React Native is a strong advantage. If you don’t have experience with either, you’ll be expected to learn them as required during the internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, scalable web interfaces using React-based frameworks (Next.js preferred)
  • Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native or Flutter
  • Learn and adapt to React Native or Flutter when required by the project
  • Implement clean, reusable UI components and design systems
  • Manage application state effectively (context, Redux, Zustand, Riverpod, etc.)
  • Integrate frontend with backend APIs (REST / GraphQL)
  • Handle performance optimisation (rendering, lazy loading, state updates)
  • Ensure consistency across devices, screen sizes, and platforms
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) — while validating outputs critically
  • Debug UI issues, edge cases, and cross-platform inconsistencies
  • Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams

Must-have qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in React-based frontend frameworks (Next.js / React)
  • 2–3 deployed projects (web or mobile) with real users and functional flows
  • Solid understanding of frontend architecture — component structure, state management, data flow
  • Strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) foundation applied to UI logic and performance (render optimisation, state updates, list handling)
  • Demonstrable depth in AI-assisted development — ability to validate, debug, and refine AI-generated UI/code
  • Strong understanding of API integration and async data handling
  • Must be located in India

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, performance optimisation)
  • Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.)
  • Experience with React Native (bonus — significantly improves selection chances)
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-platform UI consistency
  • Experience with design systems / component libraries
  • Familiarity with performance optimisation (memoization, lazy loading, reducing re-renders)
  • Experience handling forms, validation, and complex UI states
  • Exposure to animations and micro-interactions
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs or SDKs
  • Familiarity with deployment workflows (Vercel, Firebase, Play Store builds, etc.)

How We Evaluate Candidates

We do not evaluate candidates based on resumes alone.

You will be evaluated on:

  • How you structure UI and manage complexity
  • How you handle state and performance
  • How you integrate and handle real data
  • How deeply you understand the tools you use (including AI)
  • The quality and completeness of the projects you have actually built

If your experience is limited to static UI clones or tutorial-based apps, this role will not be a fit.

Important: Working Projects Are Mandatory

Your resume must include working, deployed projects.

Anyone without a working project or without a working link to their project will not be considered for this job application. GitHub repositories without a working demo are not valid submissions and will not be considered. To have a better chance of being selected, please add your working projects directly in the application questions and/or in your resume as direct hyperlinks.

Make sure all submitted links are publicly accessible and working before applying.
