Summary

Internship for a frontend developer at Valopt (India): building reusable, production-ready UI components and CMS-driven web pages with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, integrating headless CMS (Strapi) content and REST APIs while working with design and backend teams.

About the Role
Were looking for a Frontend Developer Intern to help build fast, reusable and visually consistent interfaces. Youll work across web interfaces, CMS-driven pages and API integrations: turning Figma designs into production-ready components, connecting content from our headless CMS, and working with design and backend teams to keep data flowing smoothly. This is not a shadowing internship. Youll get hands-on experience with a modern stack and ship code to live projects from your first weeks.

What You’ll Do

  • Build reusable UI components using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
  • Integrate headless CMS content via Strapi into dynamic pages
  • Work with design and backend teams to streamline data flows and fix integration issues
  • Connect frontend screens to REST APIs, then test and debug them using Postman
  • Write clean, readable, well-typed code and take part in code reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong working knowledge of React.js (hooks, props, state) and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Hands-on familiarity with TypeScript
  • Comfortable building responsive layouts with Tailwind CSS or CSS (Flexbox, Grid)
  • Working knowledge of Git and REST APIs (fetch/Axios, async/await, JSON)
  • Ownership mindset: you ask good questions, take responsibility for tasks and see them through

Good to Have

  • Personal or academic projects built with React (GitHub or portfolio link required)
  • At least one deployed project (Vercel, Netlify or similar)
  • Exposure to Strapi or any headless CMS
  • Experience using Postman for API testing
  • Familiarity with Next.js or Figma

You’ll Stand Out If You

  • Have built a project that consumes a real API and handles loading and error states
  • Have contributed to open source or collaborated on a team project via GitHub
  • Can explain why you structured your components the way you did

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience with a production React + TypeScript + Strapi stack
  • Mentorship from experienced developers
  • Real projects for your portfolio
  • Internship certificate and letter of recommendation
  • Pre-placement offer (PPO) opportunity for strong performers

How to Apply: Apply with your resume and GitHub or portfolio link.
