Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team at JTA! 🚀

In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive frontend interfaces. You'll contribute to architecture decisions, ensure high code quality through testing, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver polished, production-ready solutions.



👨🏽‍💻 What you will be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications.

• Build and maintain modern, responsive frontend interfaces using Vue.js.

• Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decisions.

• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.

• Follow best practices in software architecture, testing, and code quality, including OOP principles.

📝 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience with modern JavaScript.

• Experience with React or Vue.js, including state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Vuex, or Pinia.

• Experience with frontend tooling such as Webpack or Vite.

• Good understanding of frontend architecture patterns and REST API consumption.

• Experience writing unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest or Vitest, and end-to-end tests using Cypress.

• Familiarity with modern components and CSS libraries or frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Bootstrap, Shadcn/UI, Vuetify, PrimeVue, or Quasar.

We’re based in Porto, Portugal. Although there is the possibility of remote working, we are only considering candidates located in Portugal.
