Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Next.js.
  • Familiarity with databases and search indexes, including Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, including Git.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with PyGeoAPI.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and high-quality user interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Develop user experiences backed by internal APIs and search indexes.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
  • Maintain and update existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
  • Write technical documentation and assist in defining project requirements.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to streamline deployment processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development.
