The Front-End Developer is responsible for designing and implementing new user-facing features in web-based applications. This role ensures high performance, responsiveness, and exceptional user experience across desktop and mobile platforms, supporting robust application development and scalable frontend infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities
Feature Implementation:
Design and implement new user-facing features across projects and products.
Coding & Testing:
Write client-side code, conduct debugging and testing activities.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize web applications to ensure fast load times and scalability.
Framework Development:
Build reusable libraries and frameworks to support complex applications and improve development efficiency.
Lifecycle Management:
Participate in all phases of the application lifecycle, emphasizing quality and performance.
SDLC Adherence:
Follow best practices and standards of SDLC to build world-class frontend solutions.
Cross-Platform Development:
Work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Years and Nature of Experience:
- Proven experience in front-end development with a strong track record of high-quality UI delivery
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Angular (Must)
- Experience with AJAX, Bootstrap, Webpack, npm
- Familiarity with CMS development, TypeScript, Sass
- Understanding of Redux, Flux or similar state management patterns
- Agile/Scrum experience using tools like Jira, Trello, Slack
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed/remote/global teams
- Understanding of full web stack including server-side techniques
