Frontend Developer (React.js)

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer proficient in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and React Native to lead the development of our cross-platform digital experiences. In this role, you will bridge our modern web applications and mobile apps, building scalable architectures, intuitive user interfaces, and high-performance client-side systems. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate product requirements into maintainable, production-ready code across web, mobile, and SSR environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications using Next.js / React.js and cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Implement robust, maintainable code architectures using TypeScript across all front-end codebases and shared component libraries.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG caching strategies, bundle sizes, mobile render performance, and frame rates across devices.
• Build modular, reusable, accessible UI component libraries shared between web and mobile where feasible.
• Integrate complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs, managing client-side caching, data synchronization, and optimistic UI updates.
• Manage native build pipelines, app bundle releases, code push updates, and submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience building commercial web and mobile applications.
• Advanced proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management patterns) and Next.js (App Router, Server Actions, SSR/SSG/ISR).
• Proven hands-on track record deploying production applications using React Native.
• Expert understanding of TypeScript, including strict type safety, generics, utility types, and schema validation libraries (e.g., Zod).
• Hands-on experience with modern tools such as TanStack Query (React Query), Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Jotai.
• Fluency in modern CSS paradigms, including Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or CSS-in-JS solutions, with strong adherence to responsive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with mobile debugging, Xcode, Android Studio, and native module bridging when necessary.
• Strong command of Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
