Frontend Developer – React, TypeScript, Nginx, DevOps & Secure APIs
Summary
Hybrid Toronto (4 days in office) frontend role building responsive, reusable SPAs with React, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Day to day includes integrating secure RESTful APIs (OAuth2/JWT/SSO), running apps behind Nginx reverse proxies and caching layers, and using Git, CI/CD, Docker, Jest and Cypress.

TORONTO, ON - HYBRID (4 DAYS WFO)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• UI Development: Design and build responsive, reusable components using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Architecture: Maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) with modern React patterns, Hooks, and Context API.
• Server & Deployment: Configure and troubleshoot applications behind Nginx reverse proxies, load balancers, and caching layers.
• Security & APIs: Integrate RESTful microservices and implement secure authentication via OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
• Quality Assurance: Write unit/integration tests (Jest, Cypress) and collaborate in Agile environments.
REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience: 5+ years in frontend development with strong TypeScript/React expertise.
• DevOps/Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Preferred: Next.js knowledge, cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure), and experience in financial services or banking.
