Frontend Developer (SDE 1 / 2 / 3)

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer (2-8 years)with strong expertise in React.js, React Native, and TypeScript to build scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications powering enterprise AI products. You will own frontend development from Figma designs to production deployment, creating intuitive, responsive, and reliable interfaces for AI copilots, analytics platforms, and agentic workflows used by thousands of enterprise users. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend engineering fundamentals, mobile development expertise, product ownership, and exceptional attention to UI/UX quality.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Build Scalable Web and Mobile Applications:

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Develop reusable, modular components and maintain scalable frontend architectures.
• Own features end-to-end, from design and development to testing, deployment, and optimisation.

Develop AI-Native User Experiences:

• Build intuitive interfaces for enterprise AI applications, including conversational copilots, analytics dashboards, and agentic workflow platforms.
• Implement real-time interfaces supporting streaming LLM responses, chat interactions, agent progress tracking, citations, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build interactive dashboards, complex forms, data visualisations, and data-intensive user interfaces.

Optimise Performance and User Experience:

• Optimise rendering performance, application load times, bundle sizes, and Core Web Vitals.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and consistent user experiences.
• Optimise mobile application performance, memory consumption, and network/data usage.
• Implement offline-first capabilities, push notifications, and mobile-specific functionality where required.

API Integration and Engineering Excellence:

• Integrate frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, and real-time APIs using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• Implement authentication and authorisation flows, including OAuth and SSO.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, AI engineers, designers, and product managers.

Product Delivery and Ownership:

• Translate Figma designs and product requirements into pixel-accurate, production-ready interfaces.
• Build and maintain shared component libraries and design systems.
• Manage mobile application builds, releases, and publishing through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Develop rapid prototypes and product demonstrations to validate new AI use cases.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Frontend Frameworks: Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Core Web Technologies: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
• React Ecosystem: React Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, Next.js or similar frameworks.
• State Management: Redux, Zustand, React Query / TanStack Query, or equivalent.
• Mobile Development: React Native, iOS/Android development, mobile performance optimisation, app deployment.
• API Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE).
• UI/UX and Design Systems: Figma, reusable component libraries, design tokens, responsive layouts.
• Performance Optimisation: Rendering optimisation, lazy loading, bundle optimisation, Core Web Vitals.
• Testing and Quality: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Authentication: OAuth, SSO, and enterprise authentication flows.
• Development Tools: Git, modern build tooling, debugging, CI/CD and release workflows.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience developing AI-powered applications, particularly LLM-based copilots, chat interfaces, or agentic AI platforms.
• Familiarity with streaming LLM outputs and real-time UI interactions.
• Experience with data visualisation libraries such asD3.js, Recharts, or ECharts.
• Exposure to enterprise SaaS products or large-scale, data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience building reusable design systems across multiple products.
• Familiarity with offline-first mobile architectures and push notifications.

Nice to Have:

• 2-8 years of professional experience developing production-grade web and mobile applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with both React.js and React Native, rather than exclusively web frontend development.
• Proven ownership of features from initial design through production deployment.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimisation, and component reusability.
• Experience building complex, interactive, data-heavy or real-time applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to product design, usability, and detail.
• Ability to work independently in fast-moving engineering teams while collaborating closely with design, product, backend, and AI teams.
• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting working products to technical and business stakeholders.
