Frontend Developer (Web and Mobile)

Salary: RM 3,800 – RM 5,500 per month

Roles Overview:

The Frontend Developer is responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role focuses on delivering high-performance, visually appealing, and user-friendly experiences across platforms, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical and product objectives.

Reporting Structure:

1. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), ensuring that frontend development aligns with the company’s overall technical strategy.

2. This reporting relationship ensures frontend development contributes effectively to product innovation and user satisfaction.

• Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

• Direct Reports: None

• Matrix Reports: Operation Manager

• Direct Collaboration: Backend Developers, UI/UX Designers, Mobile Developers, Product Teams

Job Responsibilities:

1. UI Development

• Design and implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

1. Frontend Technologies

• Work with modern frontend technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Flutter.

• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and adherence to coding standards.

• Integrate APIs and backend services into the frontend architecture.

1. Performance Optimization

• Monitor and improve frontend performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Conduct regular testing and debugging to resolve issues and improve reliability.

1. Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with backend developers to define technical requirements and data exchange mechanisms.

• Work closely with the Product Team to ensure features meet user needs and business objectives.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. At least 3 years of experience in frontend development, focusing on web and mobile platforms.

3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

4. Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.

5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

7. Knowledge of cross-platform development tools is a plus.

Added Advantage:

1. Experience in building frontend interfaces for AI-driven applications or platforms.

2. Familiarity with Apple, Google, and Huawei ecosystem development requirements.

3. Knowledge of frontend testing tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
