Frontend Engineer (AI Native, Agent Product, Internet, cutting-edge working environment)

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing AI technology company building next-generation AI-native products. They are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to own user-facing interfaces and frontend infrastructure across high-impact projects. This is an opportunity to shape how users interact with cutting-edge AI capabilities, working closely with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own critical user interfaces including AI-driven UIs, API platform dashboards, and internal configuration systems
• Develop and maintain frontend infrastructure — component libraries, design systems, and engineering scaffolding to accelerate product delivery
• Drive performance improvements across load time, runtime interaction, and bundle size; ensure responsive and cross-platform compatibility
• Deliver data-intensive frontend experiences including complex tables, workflow interfaces, monitoring dashboards, and permission-based views
• Own end-to-end delivery — from requirements and prototyping to staged rollouts and rollback planning
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define interaction paradigms for next-generation AI products
• Contribute to code reviews and uphold engineering best practices across the team

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript / React / Next.js with production-grade experience
• Solid experience with state and data management solutions
• Strong understanding of browser rendering mechanics, event loop, and garbage collection — with ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues
• Hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress) and observability practices
• Strong product mindset with the ability to balance user experience, technical excellence, execution speed, and business priorities
• Experience building products from zero to one (0→1) and taking them from concept to production is highly preferred
