Frontend Engineer - Broking Product

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build and enhance a consumer-facing fintech product used by thousands of customers. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams, and deliver high-quality user experiences with a strong focus on performance, usability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Own features from design review through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build reusable components and contribute to the existing design system.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise application performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
• Identify and resolve UI, usability, and performance issues.
• Ensure applications work consistently across devices and browsers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and component-based architecture.
• Experience building and shipping consumer-facing web products.
• Familiarity with state management, API integrations, and frontend testing practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of features.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, broking, trading, or investment products.
• Experience building real-time or data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and mobile-first development.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
