Frontend Engineer, Compliance Platform
Summary
Founding frontend engineer on Supio's new Compliance Platform team: you design and build the compliance UI from scratch — reporting dashboards, BAA/contract management, opt-in/opt-out and data residency controls, and access management — including auth flows, working directly with the founding backend engineer to shape APIs.
About the role
What you'll do
- Design and build the compliance platform's UI from scratch: reporting dashboards, BAA and contract management, opt-in/opt-out and data residency management
- Build authentication and authorization flows so the right people — and only the right people — see sensitive reports and records
- Turn dense audit and access data into reporting that executives and our privacy office can act on
- Work directly with the founding backend engineer to shape the platform's APIs
- Ship a lightweight v1 quickly, then iterate with internal users across engineering, customer success, and DevOps
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building production web applications
- Experience building internal tools, admin surfaces, or data-heavy dashboards that people rely on daily
- Strong instincts for permission-gated UX — roles, access states, and what each audience should and should not see
- Care for clarity: you make complex data legible without dumbing it down
- Comfort on a small, fast-moving team with real deadlines
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in compliance, privacy, security, or another trust-sensitive domain
- Full-stack comfort — you can reach into the backend when the work calls for it.
- Experience building reporting for executive audiences
Compensation
