Frontend Engineer Intern

Blue Oak Consulting in Rome seeks a Frontend Engineer Intern to support the advisory team by building and refining web interfaces that visualize complex financial data and models. You will collaborate with senior developers to deliver clear, functional frontend components and contribute to client-ready dashboards.

The role is fully remote, offering hands-on experience with a Rome-based international investment group and exposure to capital allocation tools.

Build and maintain reusable UI components using JavaScript and modern frameworks. Convert financial charts and tables into interactive web dashboards for client reviews. Collaborate with advisory team to understand data points for reports. Ensure interfaces are responsive across devices and browsers. Collaborate with backend teammates to connect interfaces with data sources. Write unit tests and perform manual testing for numerical accuracy. Document code changes and maintain version control practices. Assist in deploying internal tools for capital allocation analysis. Update pricing models or acquisition assumptions pages. Currently enrolled or recent graduate in computer science or software engineering. Fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS demonstrated in projects or coursework. Basic familiarity with a frontend library (React, Vue, or Angular). Interest in how software visualizes financial data and models.
