Frontend Engineer

Summary

Builds and refines AI-brand visibility dashboards and workflows using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, balancing UX design with frontend coding in a fast-growing, UK/US-aligned team.

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join a fast growing, distributed product team building a platform that helps brands understand and improve how they appear in AI generated answers. This is a hands on role for a UX oriented engineer who can move between design thinking and code, for a team that requires consistent working hours overlapping the UK and US.

About the Client

Emberos is the operating system for AI brand visibility. The platform helps brands monitor how they are mentioned in answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Grok and other AI models, predicts the impact of specific fixes, and automates the workflows that improve and prove that visibility over time. The team is actively expanding its cloud based architecture on AWS and its core agent platform, with hiring continuing through the end of the year.

About the Project

This is a net new features role, meaning you will be involved from scoping through implementation rather than maintaining existing screens. A major current focus is untangling convoluted user flows across the platform's dashboards and workflows, so a UX oriented eye is as important as coding ability. The wider team is also moving the stack toward scalable, cloud based microservices on AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Own the UX and frontend implementation of core product workflows, including KPI dashboards, prompt and citation analysis, knowledge graph exploration, recommendation tracking, and reporting experiences;

  • Untangle and simplify convoluted user flows, translating ambiguous product requirements into clear wireframes, high fidelity designs, reusable components, and production ready frontend code;

  • Build and maintain responsive applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, using AI assisted tools to support implementation while maintaining strong review and quality standards;

  • Create clear visualizations for metrics such as visibility share, lift, citation coverage, signal strength, and relationship data without oversimplifying the underlying methodology;

  • Develop graph oriented experiences for inspecting brands, products, competitors, channels, geographies, sources, and campaigns;

  • Integrate frontend experiences with backend APIs and data sources, including FastAPI services, PostgreSQL backed workflows, and Neo4j connected graph data;

  • Own loading, empty, error, permission, and partial data states so the product stays clear and trustworthy when data is incomplete;

  • Expand and enforce the design system across Figma and Storybook, including reusable patterns, tokens, and accessibility standards;

  • Work from scoping through implementation on net new features as the platform's architecture expands;

  • Partner with backend engineers and data scientists to define API contracts and validate that the UI accurately represents analytical results.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally as a UX designer capable of front end coding, or a frontend engineer with strong product and UX judgment;

  • Professional experience shipping production web applications with React and TypeScript;

  • A portfolio or work history showing both product/UX design judgment and direct frontend implementation;

  • Strong command of Figma, responsive layouts, component architecture, state management, forms, tables, filters, and interactive data visualization;

  • Comfort using AI assisted tools in the frontend workflow, with strong personal judgment about when and how to rely on them;

  • Strong spoken and written English, with confidence communicating in cross functional meetings and explaining design and technical decisions;

  • Availability to work 11 AM to 7 PM Poland time;

  • Nice to have: basic affinity with graph databases such as Neo4j, experience with Python/FastAPI backends, and accessibility testing.

Recruitment Process

  • Initial conversation;

  • Cultural fit interview;

  • Technical challenge;

  • Final interview.
