Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a talented and passionate

Frontend Engineer

to join our growing engineering team in Singapore. You will be responsible for building high-performance, user-friendly web applications and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-quality web applications.
• Build reusable frontend components and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or MobX.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of responsive design, web accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Next.js.
Familiarity with UI component libraries such as Ant Design or Material UI.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
