Frontend Engineer (React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Engineer (React) based in France.

Join a remote-first engineering team building a highly technical platform that helps organizations manage and automate complex infrastructure workflows. In this role, you will create intuitive, reliable, and high-quality user experiences while solving challenging frontend engineering problems. You will have direct ownership over features from discovery through delivery, working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers. • Build and improve frontend features that deliver a seamless, high-quality user experience for a complex technical platform.
• Take ownership of projects and initiatives from discovery to implementation, release, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to develop effective solutions aligned with user needs.
• Design and implement scalable frontend architecture while maintaining strong standards for performance, usability, and code quality.
• Contribute to frontend engineering practices through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Participate in frontend and design system initiatives to ensure consistency, accessibility, and maintainability across the product.
• Identify opportunities for improvement proactively, helping reduce technical debt and increase product reliability.
• Use modern frontend technologies and development practices to deliver impactful product experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript and building modern frontend applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on understanding user problems and delivering meaningful solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of technical challenges, and make informed engineering decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest or Playwright is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and frontend best practices is an advantage.
• Interest in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or technical platforms is beneficial.
