Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing AI technology company looking for a Frontend Engineer to build modern web applications and AI-powered products.

You'll work closely with Product, Design, AI, and Backend teams to create intuitive user experiences and help shape the next generation of AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to turn ideas into production-ready features.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Optimize application performance and improve overall user experience.
• Build reusable UI components and contribute to the company's design system.
• Troubleshoot bugs and continuously improve application quality.
• Leverage AI development tools (such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) to improve development efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiar with modern frontend frameworks and component-based development.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiar with Git and modern frontend development workflows.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for building high-quality user experiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Experience working on AI, SaaS, or enterprise software products.
• Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
