Summary
Lead a frontend engineering team at Betsson Group (online gambling) in Budapest, handling people management (1:1s, coaching, vacation planning) while supporting delivery of scalable web products. Core stack: Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, with familiarity in .NET Core, C#, RabbitMQ, Redis and MS SQL; hybrid model (3 days office, 2 home).
- Support in development, quality assurance and product management
- Work closely with team members to ensure successful completion of projects and support roll-out services
- Enable continuous improvement by providing support when needed
- Responsible for vacation planning of direct reports
- Hold periodic one-to-one meetings to support individual performance and development
- Motivate the team to improve performance and provide support
- Lead team efforts towards successful project delivery
- Collaborate with various stakeholders maintaining focus on business goals
- Development background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applications
- Experience in Angular
- Good understanding of modern web technology including Javascript and TypeScript
- Familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL)
- Deep understanding and interest in lean and agile principles for product development
- Ability to build effective teams, motivate, direct and coach staff
