We are seeking an experienced Frontend Lead / UI Engineering Lead to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of our user interfaces. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust design system, ensuring accessibility standards are met, and leading the development of reusable frontend components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks and best practices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, responsive, and accessible user experiences from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the architecture and development of the frontend UI.
- Establish, implement, and maintain a comprehensive design system.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) across all user interfaces.
- Develop and manage a library of reusable frontend components.
- Oversee the implementation of responsive UI patterns.
- Mentor and guide frontend development teams, fostering best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
- Champion code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of design system principles and implementation.
- Strong experience in building responsive user interfaces.
- Proven ability to implement accessibility best practices.
- Experience with state management solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with supplier/buyer workflows.
- Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
- Experience working on projects from prototype to production.
