Frontend (Mobile) Engineer

Location: Pasir Panjang (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Subjected to renewal / conversion)

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and stability across different platforms and devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, crashes, and production issues.
• Implement frontend development best practices, including clean code, automated testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in Agile development activities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Working knowledge of native iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) OR Android development (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing asynchronous data in frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based development, and responsive UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with mobile application deployment processes, including Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Experience with frontend performance optimisation, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Good understanding of software development best practices, code quality, and testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
